With a goal of opening 20 additional properties in the span of two years, ITC Hotels, a major player in the hospitality industry, has signed a contract for a 124-room Welcomhotel in Sagra, a city in Jabalpur. This new property is part of ITC Hotels’ strategy to grow through asset ownership and has been signed under a management contract with A R V Hotels Pvt Ltd.
Anil Chadha, the divisional chief executive of ITC Hotels, stated, “Welcomhotels are experiencing significant growth in both business and leisure destinations. We are thrilled to introduce the Welcomhotel brand from the ITC Hotels group to Madhya Pradesh. Jabalpur offers a diverse range of business opportunities, including commercial, trading, government, and leisure-oriented sectors, and has emerged as a key administrative and business center for the state. The extensive meeting and banquet space, along with ITC Hotels’ renowned expertise in food and beverage and hospitality services, will give Welcomhotel Jabalpur a competitive advantage in the market.”

The recent additions to the ITC Hotels portfolio include Brand Mementos in the luxury segment and brand Storii in the premium segment. The group is now planning to expand its presence beyond India to neighboring countries.
